Different sources do different jobs

Public health resources, professional recommendations and relevant original research support our medical explanations. A single study should not be presented as a definite answer for everyone.

Manufacturer documentation can explain a device’s intended use and instructions. It does not automatically establish superiority over another approach. When a provider describes its own prices or services, that information also has a commercial context.

How content is prepared and reviewed

Each article should answer a clear reader question, use understandable language and identify decisions that need individual assessment. Our established editorial routine includes nurse review of articles before publication.

English localization is a new text version. Review and publication approval are recorded for the actual English version, rather than inherited from a Norwegian article. We do not display a named reviewer, qualification or review date without documented support.

  1. Define the question

Explain the purpose of the article and where individual assessment is needed.

  2. Check the sources

Support significant claims with relevant, current material and retain the source scope.

  3. Review the text

Assess accuracy, qualifications and reader guidance through the editorial review routine.

  4. Maintain the version

Record corrections and review changes when new evidence or information appears.

Make uncertainty visible

A personal experience or advertising claim alone does not establish treatment effectiveness. Sources have different purposes and limits.

We distinguish what a source supports from what still needs individual judgment. Reading the sources does not itself mean the English article has been professionally reviewed.

Keep paid content identifiable

Snorehelper currently has no advertisements, paid provider listings, patient referrals or product sales. We do not rank providers or individual devices.

Citations are not partnership claims. Any future paid relationship must be clear to the reader.

Record meaningful changes

Content revisions and source checks are recorded separately. Checking a source again does not automatically change the article’s publication date or create a new review approval.
